This kitchen remodel and rear yard deck addition of a modest 1908 cottage in Madison Valley brings to light its hidden potential for connecting the back yard to the new kitchen and dining areas, creating one larger indoor/outdoor living space.
Interior walls were removed and existing spaces opened up and stripped down. The redesigned interior space is characterized by simple white walls, high-end appliances, custom modular wenge cabinetry with subtle detailing in wood, steel and stone. Outside, a new Massaranduba wood deck and bench extends to the raised garden beyond. Interior and exterior spaces are joined by a large Nanawall slide-fold door system.
